You know what’s funny. Earth could have had another ruling species, which got so powerful, they decided that the earth needed a few millenniums to regenerate, so they took an entire civilisation to the bottom of the ocean. And we wouldn’t even know they were there. And they would have probably evolved into gigantic fish creatures.

Imagine these gigantic fish creature would return to claim their land.They could give us equipment to live under the sea.
