I am a Licentiate of Germanic Philology and a former international screen content buyer who blogs, lectures and consults on screenwriting and story structure. Among my clients are writers, producers, and screen agencies.
I headed Programming and Acquisitions at the Digital Broadcasting Co in London and hosted a weekly film show on MTV Europe. I negotiated and programmed films for Europe’s largest pay-TV group, Canal+.

I started my career in Europe during the early nineties, producing prime-time radio and presenting movie shows on TV, often reaching an audience of millions. At the time, I was based out of Brussels, Amsterdam and London.
After moving to Sydney in 2001, I produced and co-produced a handful of short films, documentaries and feature films.
From my experience as a film acquisitions executive, writer and producer, I designed a unique approach to market-driven story development, as well as a hands-on scriptwriting training method.
Today, people hire me for advice on story structure in the tradition of Joseph Campbell, with a flavouring of Paul Gulino.
My clients are mainly producers and screenwriters.
